Education 
  • 244 individuals attended parenting classes, 225 adults and children received therapy for abuse related issues and 227 families were supported through the crisis intervention program at the Sunshine Center
  • 5,860 people received a 7-day supply of food through the Emergency Community Food Pantry.
  • 258 adults and 160 children received free legal assistance through Legal Aid of the Bluegrass
  • 27,000 meals were served to the hungry at the Soup Kitchen
  • 63 kids, ages 6-17, provided safe, supervised recreation and culturally enriching activities during summer break through South Frankfort Community Center
  • 79 individuals with disabilities were provided with vocational training, support and employement through Frankfort Habilitation
  • 67 women and children who were victims of domestic violence were provided shelter at Safe House, transportation, food and referral services through Franklin County Council on Family Abuse
  • Provided 45 men with long-term chemical dependency treatment and transitional living services at Halfway House.
  • Franklin County nursing home residents received regular visits and had quality of life and care complaints resolved through the Nursing Home Ombudsman Agency
  • 14 needy elderly citizens received 3,879 hours of free in-home care through the Senior Companion Program, preventing or delaying nursing home placements
  • Collected 4,117 pints of blood at 162 blood drives and trained 2,368 people in life-saving skills through American Red Cross
  • 3,468 participated in youth sports programs and 987 received swimming lessons at Frankfort YMCA
  • 37 families participated in the Familes Learning Through Interaction Program at Thorn Hill Education Center
  • 706 boys & girls, ages 5-20, were involved in Boy and Girl Scouts
  • 125 kids, ages 5-18, participated in educational, community outreach and faith-based programs at The Kings Center
  • 45 children attended summer camp and 667 children participated in Kids' Club and band through The Salvation Army
  • An average of 83 children per week participated in the After School Program, 1,621 attended summer day camps and a daily average of 92 children received child care through the Frankfort YMCA
