    EMERGENCY COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY OF FRANKLIN COUNTY

The primary goal of the Food Pantry mission is to provide emergency groceries to community members who are in desperate need of food.  The pantry provides a seven-day supply of food to its clients.  Clients are eligible to receive food boxes only three times in any given six month period.  Vouchers are also issued to clients with children under 5 years old in order to purchase dairy products and baby foods.

Hours:  Pantry volunteers work Monday - Friday, 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM

    Gives emergency assistance with bills, food, clothing, furniture, prescriptions, diapers, lodging, out-of-town transportation, and referral to other agencies and provides personal and marriage counseling, church activities, and clubs for women and children.

    COALITION OF COMMITTED CHRISTIANS
SOUP KITCHEN/MEN'S SHELTER

    Serves hot lunch to the indigent of the community, no questions asked and provides emergency temporary shelter for men all year long.

Eligibility: Open

Cost:  None

Hours:  Daily - Soup Kitchen - 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM daily; Men's Shelter - 6:00 PM - overnight to 8 AM following morning
